Our chefs provide you with all the knowledge you need to create amazing dishes. Our classes are perfect for a date night or girls' night out. Adult classes are $40-$50 per person/per class unless posted otherwise. Must be 21 to attend Wine Classes. Must be 18 to attend Knife Skills Class. You may bring in beverages with you to drink during class. Limit one bottle of wine per two people or two beers per person. ID's will be checked prior to class.

Paid registration is required as seating is limited. There is a two day notification required for cancellation of a class for refund. If less than two days is given for cancellation, you may find a friend or family member to fill your spot. If you need to cancel the day of class due to illness or emergency, you can get half credit toward another class. Please inform us of food allergies upon registration. If over 21, you may bring 1 bottle of wine per 2 people, or 2 bottles of beer per person. No hard liquor is allowed. ID's are required. With the exception of kids classes, children under the age of 12 cannot attend adult classes unless previously approved by Gourmet Chef management. 


Tea

ENGLISH HIGH TEA with SYLVIA RAU
Demonstration Class - $45
Come join us for afternoon tea. Sylvia Rau from England will be here to share with you a proper English Tea. Class participants will enjoy various selection of sweet and savory English delights. Dishes will include fruits harvested from the garden and English Mincemeat. You will also be shown how to brew the perfect pot of tea and for fun a little bit of English trivia. Class participants are encouraged to bring a cup and saucer of their own.

A SPECIAL TUSCAN DINNER
Demonstration Class - $45
Inspired by a recent trip to Brooklyn and guest appearance on the show “Extra Virgin” with Chef Gabriele Corcos owner of the Tuscan Gun, Antonella will be sharing with class participants 3 of the recipes they made that evening. Recipes will include: Pasta al Vino (sausage and rosemary in a white wine saffron broth and fresh parmesan cheese), Bruschetta with goat cheese, ricotta, fresh herbs and cured Italian Sopressata, and a Panna Cotta with blackberry jam and fresh mint.

Pie

LET’S MAKE A PIE with TAINA KAROW
Participation Class - $45
Award winning pie maker, Taina Karow will be here this month to show class participants how to make a pie from scratch! You will learn the techniques needed to make the perfect pie at home and will also get to take home the product of all your hard work.

WINE TASTING AND BASIC SUSHI MINI CLASSES
Participation Class - $50
Sushi and wine! What could be better?!! Class participants will either start at Off the Vine for wine tasting or at Gourmet Chef for a basic sushi class with Sue Willson, owner of UP Again Catering. Then you switch and head to the other location for the remaining time. Spaces are limited.

CHILI, TWO WAYS with JAMIE PRICE
Demonstration Class - $45
Jamie Price, Texas native, Pit Master and owner of LBJ Catering will be showing class participants how make two kinds of chili, perfect for those cool fall days. He will be making a traditional Texas Red Chili, New Mexico Pork Green Chili and Jalapeno Jack Corn Bread.

ADVANCED SUSHI with SUE WILLSON
Participation Class - $45
Looking to take your sushi rolling to the next level? This class is for you. Sue Willson, owner of UP Again Catering, will be sharing some advanced sushi techniques with class participants. These will be all new recipes for those who have already attended the basic sushi class.

SCANDINAVIAN LEFSE MAKING with LIZ GJELLSTAD
Participation Class - $45
Owner of Thor’s Ethnic Foods and creater of the DVD “Thor’s Favorites,” Liz Gjellstad will be showing participants in this hands on class all the techniques needed to make the perfect Scandinavian Lefse. Spaces are limited. Uff da!

Wednesday, October 26, 2016 - 6:00 - 8:00pm
EVENING WITH SARA MOULTON
Demonstration Class - $75
Join us for a very special evening with Food Network Star, Sara Moulton! She is also well known as the executive chef of Gourmet Magazine, is the author of several cookbooks (her latest being Home Cooking 101: How to Make Everything Taste Better), and the host of public television’s “Sara’s Weeknight Meals.” This will be a class you don’t want to miss! Sara will be making Tomato Paella Soup, Fusilli with Sausage and Bananas Foster Crepes. There will also be a book signing before the class.
